| > Bravo Delta Display Models | Bravo Delta Models are exceptional museum quality and produced in dried mahogany. Each is carved, joined and sanded by hand. The deep, rich finish that distinguishes these models is created by the application of up to 35 coats of enamel and the hand painting all details. The final product is therefore beautifully turned out, fully built and durable on the desk top or open display. It is packed in a strong shipping carton.
Every model has its own desk stand. All the propellers are made of wood and will rotate. Some of the jets have movable swing wings, also made of wood.
Models in stock are listed, many of those that aren't are available within 7 to 10 days. For special order items enquire to gm@antics.ltd.uk.
A brass finish nameplate is available for most models.

The finish achieved on this model is just stunning - it oozes quality!Basically an S2and presented in the livery of of onethe aircraftedthat bombed the tanker Torrey Canyon when it ran aground on the Seven Sisters reef off the Isles of Sicily. To protect the environmentit was decided to attempt to burn off the ships's cargo with air attack as the 'match'.
It's a superb model, measuring 15 - 16" (approx 39cm) in length, has the larger engine nacelles of the S2 but does include the small wing vents present on the S1..

The S2 XV156 was later attached to 809 Squadron on HMS Eagle - 16th April 1973and subsequently converted to an S2A version for the RAF 1st August 1973.
The very large crude carrier Torrey Canyon ran onto the Seven Sisters reef off Lands End on the 18th March 1967. In order to burn off the oiland minimise environmental damage, Hunters,Buccaneers and Sea Vixens launched a series ofattacks that eventually saw the vessel destroyed and made the evening news very entertaining at the time.
