Norman Oliver and his wife Lynn, hence N&L who are now senior directors of the Limited Company formed in 1988, founded Olivers Transport in August 1972 as N & Oliver at Kirk Yethom near Kelso.Olivers Transport Ltd. originally operated from a small base in Kirk Yethon with one vehicle, later moving to rented space on an industrial estate in Kelso, by this time operating six vehicles and employing 5 drivers until 1982 when they moved to their current 5 acre site at Eccles.The Company currently operates ovewr 25 vehicles and employ more than 30 people, their operations include livestock haulage, storage and general haulage
