British Caledonian was an airline formed from the merger in 1970 of British United Airways and Caledonian Airways,it was formed to compete on internatuional routes against the state monopoly carriers BEA & BOAC.The airlines base was Gatwick Airport, and as an inheritance of the Caledonian Airlines roots , there was also an extensive hub operated from Prestwick Airport, BCAL was finally reduced to a charter subsidiary
Model wingspan 300mm. Originally planned for early 2007 release, this model has been delayed.
