Trans World Airline was formed as Transcontinental and Western Air in 1930 and was the largest user of Constellation variants. Fleet no.508 was delivered on the 19th Feb.1946 and named ' Star of Ireland ' . It was retired on the 17th May 1957 and broken up two years later.
