S.J.Bargh Ltd. began life in April 1935 when a local man Sam Bargh, started to buy milk from locall farmers and sell it on to Libby McNeil & Co. As the Libby business grew so did the need for transporting finished products.Being well placed to offer an outbound service.Sam Bargh saw this opportunity to move into general haulage. S.J.Bargh Ltd was registered on 20th April 1954 since then the Company is at present the largest independent milk haulier in the North West, running a fleet of around 70 vehicles ranging from 2 tonne vans to 44 tonne general haulage vehicles
