Corgi The Wright Flyer High Spec (AA34503)
With a wingspan of more than 15 inches, this large-scale 1/32 replica really is a wonderful example of the modelmaker's craft at its highest level. Reproducing the aircraft in which the Wright brothers made the first ever powered flight on the 17th December 1903, it features finely etched struts, guide wires and engine unit. It comes accompanied by detailed models of both Wright brothers, launch track and trolley, bench and stand.

Corgi 1/48 RAF Se5A Nightfighter England 1918 Model Diecast Aircraft (AA37701)

The third SE5 produced became, in effect, the prototype SE5a with a 200hp Hispano Suiza power plant and shorter span wings. Corgi 1/48 German Albatross DV Freidrich Von Roth Diecast Model Aircraft (AA37802)

Expected June 2008

Roth was badly wounded while serving with an artillery regiment. He transferred to the German Air Force after recovering from his wounds but was injured in a flying accident during training.In and out of hospitals for nearly two years, Roth eventually scored his first 3 victories on the 25th January 1918. On that day heshot down 3 enemy balloons in less than 10 minutes.On the 30th July he scored his 17th victory shooting down a Bristol Fighter. Of his 28 victories 20 of them were balloons. Extremely distressed that Germany had lost the war Roth committed suicide. His Knights Cross of the Military Order of Max-Joseph was awared posthumously in 1919
