The famous London to Scotland train is presented here in a top-of-the-range Hornby train set with LNER 4-6-2 locomotive and four classic LNER teak coaches, depicting the Flying Scotsman as it ran non-stop from London to Edinburgh in the summer seasons of the 1930s. The prototype locomotive had a corridor link through the tender to the coaches to allow crews to switch over without stopping the train.

This set contains the Starter Oval track plus extension Track Packs A and B providing a layout with two sidings, but you can also add extra Track Packs when you are ready to enlarge the circuit.
