Dragon Warbirds has been catapulted into the limelight with the arrival of its new aircraft diorama sets. The second such item to be launched is an F/A-18F Super Hornet. It arrives in a dramatic and attractive diorama scene featuring an authentic looking card base and three figures from a carrier deck crew. All items in this instant diorama scene are in an exact 1/72 scale. The figures are pre-painted and are in dramatic poses as they prepare to launch the Super Hornet from the carrier deck on its next mission. The F/A-18F, the two-seater version of the U.S. Navy’s fighter attack aircraft, is from VFA-41 “Black Aces”. VFA-41 is a strike fighter squadron based at Naval Air Station Lemoore in California, whose motto is “First to Fight, First to Strike”.
