Witty Wings superb diecast model of the Mk.IX Spitfire. Entering service during WWII, these were the first of the more powerful engined Spitfires, capable of engaging the new Fw190's on equal terms. This version carries the markings of the Royal Australian Air Force No. 457 "Grey Nurse" Spitfire Squadron, flying against the Japanese in 1945. Model has landing gear down for ground display, plus a display stand supplied.
