A new entry in the diecast aircraft market Witty Wings have quickly established very high standards in their diecast model detailing, markings and lettering. If the real plane had something written there it seems Witty Wings are trying to ensure you can read it on the model. The range is expected to expand to include post-WWII jet fighters shortly.

Entering service during WWII, these were the first of the more powerful engined Spitfires, capable of engaging the new Fw190's on equal terms. This version carries the markings of the Royal Australian Air Force No. 457 "Grey Nurse" Spitfire Squadron, flying against the Japanese in 1945.
