more | Corgi 1/72 Batman Bronze Age Twin Pack Ltd Ed. (US77347)
We have a few of these very nicely boxed twin pack Batmobiles, produced for the USA! Bronze Age refers to the period when comics took a darker, or more serious turn in the seventies. As the seventies began the Caped Crusader adotped his stealthiest and most understated Batmobile yet, a dark blue high powered coupe that was indistinguishable from other sports carsexcept for the styilized Bat silhouette adorning its hood. It was, however, still the fastest vehicle on 4 wheels. Ten years later, with Robin now often college bound, leaving Batman a solo crimefighter, a redesigned and almost retro Batmobile hearkened back to earlier models with its rocket-engine afterburner and scalloped tail-fins. Of course a twin canopy cockpit was returned to reunite the dynamic duo whenever villainy threatened Gotham City!
Only 5000 of these packs were produced for worldwide sale and with its smart box it 's a great addition to any collection but at our special price its great value as well! | |
