In 1943 General Chuck Yeager arrived in England with his squadron to take part in the push to provide escorts to bombers flying deep into Europe. In P-51D Mustang "Glamourous Glenn III" he flew 64 missions and shot down 13 German aircraft. Yeager's courage was put to the test when his plane was shot down over Germany. He escaped capture, survived the war, and later went on to break the sound barrier.

A superb and exclusive model of this famous P-51D that put Yeager into the history books and cut losses of American bombers dramatically when they escorted them over Germany! GMP is offering this plane as the second release in a 1:35 scale military replicas.
